Renee Lella studied medical transcription at the Community College of Southern Nevada in Las Vegas . She belongs to the Medical Transcription Industry Association, also known as MTIA. As a member of MTIA, she serves as a volunteer on the MTIA Membership Committee. Renee Lella also actively participates as a member of AHDI, the Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity, and AHIMA, the American Health Information Management Association. An active member of her community in Las Vegas, Renee Lella serves on the Board of Directors of her local homeowner's association. As a member of the board of directors, Renee Lella was among the group who led a campaign to prevent the construction of a gun range in the neighborhood, even hosting a meeting with Nevada Senator John Lee and Las Vegas Councilman Steve Ross. In her free time, Renee Lella enjoys watching sports, especially baseball, football, and hockey. She also pursues horseback riding, singing, acting, dancing, and reading. Renee Lella supports a number of charities, including St. Luke's Children's Hospital, St. Francis De Sales, and several other local churches.
